Criteria

|
You have to be a registered charity in Singapore.
|
| 1.2
|
Applicants must submit information about the programme for which they seek funding, based on the format in Section
3.

| 1.3
|
The programme may be new or existing, but must be in line with the theme.
|

| 2.
|
Judging
Process
|
| 2.1
|
There will be a pre-qualifying round to select three finalists. The finalists will be informed by 4 October 2007.
|
| 2.2
|
Training sessions by Brakeley Fundraising and Management Consultants will be arranged for the three finalists on
11 October from 9:30am to 3pm (time slots will be staggered after 11am) to help them better prepare for
The Pitch.

| 2.3
|
The finalists will present their pitch “live” on stage, on 31 October 2007 at the National Volunteerism & Philanthropy and Corporate Social Responsibility Conference 2007.
|
| 2.4
|
Each pitch is to be based on some or all of the information submitted in writing, as required under Section
3.
|
| 2.5
|
The pitch may be a 10-minute speech, presentation, performance, or a combination of these. This will be followed by a five-minute question-and-answer session, led by the panel of judges.

| 3.
|
Application
|
| 3.1
|
There is no prescribed form to fill, but each application must contain the following information:
|

i.
|
Who you are: namely, your mission and the key people who carry this out.
|
|
ii.
|
What you do: what programme(s) you seek funding for, and how it is in line with the theme.
|
| iii.
|
How will the funding be used.
|
| iv.
|
How you will account for the usage, that is, what does success look like and what indicators you will use to measure success.
|
| v.
|
Your contact information: name of contact person, name of
organisation, mailing address, and contact person’s telephone number (office and mobile) and email address.
|
| 3.2
|
Applications should not exceed one A4 page in length.
|
| 3.3
|

Judges reserve the right to seek more information and the right not to award any prizes.
|
| 3.5
|
Awards, if made, may be withdrawn if there is non-disclosure or misrepresentation of material information, or non-compliance with any conditions herein.
|

The information submitted will form the basis of the judges’ decision. All decisions relating to
The Pitch are final.
|
| 3.7
|
By applying to take part, you irrevocably accept to do so based on the terms and conditions stated above, and warrant that information submitted is correct and true to the best of your knowledge.

| 3.8
|
Winner(s) of
The Pitch will be required to submit a progress report six months after the Award has been granted.
|
| 3.9
|
By accepting the Award, winner(s) agree to participate in, and contribute to, NVPC’s media relations surrounding the ensuing benefits of the winning Programmes.
