National
Volunteerism & Philanthropy and
Corporate Social Responsibility Conference
2007
30
& 31 Oct 2007
|
The annual National Volunteerism &
Philanthropy and Corporate Social Responsibility Conference is back.
It is the conference for the non-profit sector in Singapore, as well
as for companies and government bodies that have a stake in
community giving.
Building on last year’s theme of Doing Good Well, this year’s
highly anticipated dual-track Conference will address the future of
Singapore as a philanthropy hub, following the bold changes to the
charity tax laws earlier this year. With the growth of Singapore as
such a hub, the need to develop and professionalise the people
sector by way of capability and skills development is more critical
than ever before. The timely issue of restoring public confidence in
the sector will also be addressed.
Prominent local and international speakers will engage participants
on the topic of doing good and doing well as part of Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR), and for Non-profit
Organisations (NPOs),
the whole business of doing good well. |
