Raffles City Convention Centre |
|
The
Raffles City Convention Centre is the official Congress Venue for the 3rd APCH.
A mere 20 mins’ drive from the Singapore Changi Airport, the venue is
conveniently situated in the city centre, with the space to accommodate up to
3,200 delegates in the Raffles Ballroom and up to 1,000 delegates in the
Stamford Ballroom.
The associate hotels of The Raffles City Convention Centre – Swissotel The
Stamford, Singapore and Raffles The Plaza, Singapore – have several restaurants
featuring different cuisines, which include Italian, International, Japanese,
Chinese and local food.
The Raffles City Shopping Centre also offers more from 10 restaurants and an
air-conditioned food court that has an endless selection of local delicacies.
Delegates can easily make their way to CHIJMES for more good restaurants and
pubs.
Within 5-min walking distance from the Raffles City Convention Centre is the
Marina Bay, which has over 1,000 shops,
300 restaurants and 150 bars in its immediate vicinity.

divided into 3 smaller ballrooms with each having a seating capacity from
1,000 to 1,200 delegates |

can be used for parallel session, official opening, luncheons and
dinners. This ballroom can also be divided into 2 smaller ballrooms

Raffles Ballroom |
|
The Raffles Ballroom is one of the largest column-free
ballrooms in Singapore. It is a magnificent ballroom that can accommodate
up to 3,200 people. It has what is believed to be the largest chandelier
in the world and was the first hotel ballroom in Asia to install
"smart light technology, a state of the art lighting system
which allows precision lighting and the creation of stunning effects.
It has a 28-foot high motorized walls which can
be deployed to divide it into 3 separate rooms : Canning, Padang
and Collyer.
Other facilities built into the Raffles Ballroom
are the 90-speaker concert quality ceiling sound system and 5 built-in
screens, all supported by the latest in audio-visual technology.
Beside the Raffles Ballroom is also the VIP Lounge - a room ideal
for entertaining VIP attendees to your function or alternatively,
serve as additional function space for your event. |

Stamford Ballroom |
|
The Stamford Ballroom is a grand column-free ballroom,
which can hold up to 1,000 people. For more intimate functions,
it can be divided by a partition wall into two rooms : Sophia and
Olivia, each with their own private foyer, which are ideal for breakout
lunches, coffee breaks and cocktails . As with the Raffles Ballroom,
the Stamford Ballroom is also equipped with "smart light"
technology and has 78 ceiling speakers and 3 built in screens. |

Atrium Ballroom |
The Atrium Ballroom is an elegant ballroom, which
can hold up to 450 people. Sleek and contemporary in décor,
the Atrium Ballroom can be divided into 3 separate meeting rooms
: Moor, Morrison and Hullet. Combining warm elegance and spacious
comfort, the Atrium Ballroom is ideal for all business events. |
